Love and Gelato- book review
Hey readers!
I recently read this book called 'Love and Gelato' by Jenna Evans Welch and fell in love with it! (IRONIC) Yes, I have mentioned it in a previous post, but this book was honestly so nice that I feel like it deserves an individual post :)
This book revolves around a teenager- Lina, whose whole life turns upside down when she is forced to move to Italy, obeying the wish of her deceased mom. In the beautiful town of Tuscany, she discovers her mother's past, filled with secrets- from bakeries to old friends. She also makes new friends, and gets to know her dad. But little does she know that a huge secret awaits her. As she unravels the mysteries her mother left behind, she unexpectedly falls for a charming guy.
This book has so many amazing elements to it, but the best definitely has to be the way the sceneries are described. Reading the book just made me wanna shift to Italy and have gelato XD
I finished the book in around 3 days, because it is simply unputdownable!
Although it doesn't have a huge surprise element to it, the book just gives you such good vibes that you feel like you need to read it.
This is definitely a must read for YA fans!
