february and march reads + my TBR
Hey readers!
Happy one year to this blog! I can't believe it's been a year and I'm so grateful that I have a place where I can share my thoughts about things I love. If you've stuck around on my journey so far, I'm so thankful for you.
February and March were very dry months in terms the number of books I read. But the ones I did read were quite interesting. In this post, I'm going to be sharing my ratings and reviews for these books and giving you a sneak peek into my TBR.
1. The Cousins- Karen M McManus (4.5/5)
This was a book I was looking forward to reading ever since I got to know it existed. I've read all the other books by this author and I loved them so very much. This book kept me on the edge of my seat every chapter and there was always something to surprise me. However, due to my high expectations, I was not satisfied with the ending. But I would definitely recommend this book to mystery lovers.
2. Chasing Lucky- Jenn Bennett (3/5)
This might be one of the few books I didn't search up a lot about before buying. I don't think I regret reading it, but I'm not really sure whether I'm a fan of this book. Very mixed feelings. The beginning and the ending were amazing but parts of the book were not that great.
3. All this time- Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott (5/5)
The authors' names seem familiar to you? It's by the same authors who wrote 5 feet apart. And knowing me, you know I expected a lot. And this book exceeded my expectations. Most of the time, I can sort of predict things to happen in a book, but this one left me stumped. I did not expect more than half of the outcomes in the book. Although the ending was a little complicated, I really loved the book.
You deserve a reward for reaching this far. Here are some top books on my TBR-
1. You Should See Me In A Crown
2. Artemis Fowl (has been lying on my shelf for ages)
3. Crown of Midnight
4. Goodbye Days
5. Since You've been gone
6. The Invisible Life of Addie Larue
7. the feminist agenda of Jemima Kincaid
I hope you loved this post. Thank you so much for reading! Let me know what other posts you would like to see. Stay tuned for more.
